Rainy Miller, originally known as Jack Bowes from Longridge, Preston, gained recognition through his involvement in the emerging Grime scene in Preston. After relocating to Manchester in 2015, he released his debut album "Limbs" (2019) and established himself with an introspective style and his own label, Fixed Abode. Miller followed this up with his second solo project A Choreographed Interruption (2021),a poetic and emotionally penetrating audio-visual study of loss and longing that presented a more idiosyncratic and sonically developed sound.
Rainy Miller had features, reviews and guest mixes for The Face, NTS, Fact, Salt and CrackMagazines as well as plays on BBC 6 Music, Worldwide FM and BBC Radio 3. His recent projects, including collaborations with Blackhaine and the upcoming ambitious work "DESQUAMATION (Fire, Burn. Nobody)" in partnership with HEAD II, demonstrate his ability to transform personal challenges into powerful electronic music and solidify his position as a leading artist in the scene.
