Saint Precious

Saint Precious, or Saint as her name is, was born and raised in Sweden. With a Barbadian father, a Swedish mother, and 3 siblings, her upbringing was filled with richness and loads of influences. Musically, everything from Lisa Nilsson to WeatherReport shaped her, and she was singing even before she spoke.

From the age of 17, the age she also realized she is a transwoman, she started producing her own tracks and working professionally with different producers and music makers. In 2018, Spotify asked her to be a part of the Equalizer producer camp, where she flourished to other heights, but it wasn’t until 2020, after starting on HRT and finally being on her way towards her true self that she met producer/DJ Dinamarca. After sending in a voice memo with a little verse on his track “Athmo”from Fantasialand 1.0, Saint Precious and Dinamarca jumped quite quickly into the studio and started creating together. It all clicked very fast, and after years of juggling with her own productions and others, she finally felt that she had hit home; which also equaled her being safe and comfortable creating songs around her experiences as the woman she is. It was almost as if this communion had been on hold by the universe til she was ready. Together with the singles “Ode to T”,”Sanctum” and ”Catharsis,” they created the EP ”The Resonance” released on Dinamarca’s own label, Staycore, home to artists such as Mobilegirl and Toxe.
